Hi all,
Some MIDI controllers and DAW based MIDI effects contain a 'strum' feature, where there is a slight delay between each note in a chord. Imagine tapping your fingers down one after another, instead of hitting a chord with all fingers simultaneously.
It would be cool if there was a bipolar parameter for chords in the Digitone that did this, where turning the parameter up beyond 12 o'clock created a strum from low notes to high notes with increasing delay, and turning it down below 12 o'clock did a downward strum from upper to lower notes.
This would allow for more articulate arrangements. Bonus if it's P-lockable.
You can currently fake this effect with the arpeggiator, but there's no control over the notes being held, and you can't turn it off, so every note must be arpeggiated. Not ideal for the sort of expressive arrangement that calls for the feature in the first place.
Either way, hoping that someone finds the idea handy enough to develop. Wish I had the time and resources to devote to it myself! Have a good day!
